So, I’ve always been up & down as far as my weight goes...never been one of those people that can eat whatever they want, to say the least. I’ve always had to work at it. Plus, everybody knows the older ya get, the harder it is to get any extra weight off. Well, unfortunately, this is one of those “up” times for me. It’s almost like I woke up one day and the weight was there…and I hate it. So, I decided I had to do something about it! I had the eating part down, but the exercise part has always been an issue for me. Beyond your typical cardio, I never really knew what to do. I heard about The Rush’s 12 minute workout and thought,” who can’t work out for 12 minutes?” Seems like a start, a good fresh start for me & my relationship with exercise. So, I went in this week and gave it a shot. I chose the Knoxville Center location. The people @ The Rush have made me feel very comfortable and that makes it much easier to get & stay motivated. I’ve had less than stellar gym experiences in the past. First time I tried it, I was blown away by how much you could really get done in 12 minutes! If you go in, thinking it’s not gonna kick your butt, you’re doing it wrong! Haha…it’s basically 3, 4 minute rounds and each has 4 exercises that you repeat until the 4 minutes are up. End result, more calories burned than in a typical hour of exercise and a great sense of accomplishment for this chic! Watch the video and see for yourself!
